Use of Varied Practice and Lite Gait BWS to Reduce Cognitive Demand in A Patient with TBI to Facilitate Functional Gait Patterning: A Case Study

This case study examines the use of variable practice and environmental constraints in the setting of traumatic brain injury. It looks at the use of techniques not typical for the acute care setting and their potential benefit for patients in this setting. Additionally, it looks at the difficulty associated with placement into skilled nursing facilities and long term acute care facilities for patients with poor functional gains being predicted.
